How Often Should Artificial Turf Be Cleaned?
Regular hosing doesn't reach the urine and bacteria that build up deep in the fibers. Professional cleaning every 3–6 months keeps your turf smelling fresh and looking new.
I have pets. How often do I need cleaning?
Every 3 months, or enroll in a monthly maintenance plan. Pet urine breaks down turf fibers over time and the bacteria buildup accelerates the odor problem if not treated regularly.
What if I don't have pets?
Once or twice a year is usually enough. Over time, turf fibers flatten from foot traffic and weather. A deep clean brings back the lush, upright look of a new installation.
Can my kids and pets use the turf after cleaning?
Yes — we use only enzyme-based and oxidizing deodorizers that are completely pet-safe and kid-safe. Once the surface is dry (usually 30–60 minutes), you're good to go.
Does hosing it down myself help?
It helps with loose debris, but it won't reach the urine crystals bonded deep in the infill. Those require enzyme treatment and professional-grade equipment to fully break down.
